Easter Project

The Academy is partnering with the students of St. John’s Prep to create Easter baskets for the children of families living in homeless shelters.

We will be collecting items to fill these Easter gift baskets beginning on Monday, March 4, and ending on Friday, March 15. Students should bring donations to their homeroom classroom from which they will be collected daily and stored until 3/15.

We suggest the following for gift collection:

KINDERGARTENERS-coloring books and crayons
FIRST GRADERS – stuffed animals
SECOND GRADERS-chalk and bubbles
THIRD GRADERS-pre-packaged crafts, cellophane basket bags
FOURTH GRADERS– 11 inch Barbie-type dolls or action figures
FIFTH GRADERS– various balls and jump ropes, cars and trucks
SIXTH GRADERS-Easter baskets or beach pails
JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS – older girl/boy items
Ex. hair accessories, make-up, lotions, building models/kits
