To parents who qualify based on annual income, the Academy through the Futures in Education Foundation of the diocese as well as the Board of Directors offers tuition assistance to current students.

The student population is approximately 400 students. The class sizes are as follows:

• 3k – 15 students with 1 teacher and an assistant
• Pre-k – 18 students with a teacher and assistant
• Kindergarten – up to 25 students with a teacher and assistant
• Grades 1-8 have 15–25 students per class

An early morning drop-off at 7:10 a.m. is available each day as well as an afternoon program from dismissal to 5:30 p.m. daily.

The Academy follows the New York State Teaching and Learning Standards and academic policies of the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens. The Academy’s STREAM curriculum includes Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. Grades K–4 use HMH Into Reading, and grades K–8 use enVision Mathematics. Students in kindergarten to eighth grade are scheduled for a weekly hands-on lab period in conjunction with the STEM aspects of the STREAM curriculum.
