St. Joseph Catholic Academy
Dear Families,
It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you to another exciting school year at St. Joseph Catholic Academy. Whether you are returning to our school family or joining us for the first time, we are delighted to have you as part of our community. At SJCA, we are committed to partnering with our families to provide an exceptional Catholic education where students are challenged academically, nurtured spiritually, and encouraged to discover their unique gifts.
One of the things that makes SJCA special is our commitment to continuous improvement. We value the feedback of our students and families, and through our OURco surveys, we are able to listen, learn, and make meaningful enhancements that enrich the educational experience for every child.
This year, we are excited to expand our weekly Activity Hour with the addition of Fashion Design. Students will have the opportunity to explore creativity, learn about fashion and design, and showcase their work during a school-wide Fashion Show. This new enrichment opportunity joins our growing selection of activities—including Robotics, Chorus, Chess, Basketball, Greek Mythology, Yearbook, and more—that encourage students to discover new interests and talents beyond the classroom.
Based on valuable feedback from our families, we are also pleased to introduce healthy snack options as part of our lunch program, continuing our commitment to supporting the well-being of our students.
We are proud to continue offering many of the programs that make SJCA unique, including Algebra I for qualifying eighth-grade students, allowing them to earn high school credit while preparing for advanced coursework. Students will also continue to enjoy opportunities through our Afterschool Explorers program, including Soccer, Art Club, Band, Piano, Public Speaking, Young Creators, and many other engaging activities.
As we begin this new school year, I look forward to the many opportunities that lie ahead. Together, with our dedicated faculty, supportive families, and faith-filled community, we will continue to challenge minds, nurture hearts, and inspire our students to grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
Thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and support. I pray that God blesses each of our students, families, faculty, and staff with a joyful, successful, and faith-filled school year.
Many Hearts…One Family.
Warm regards,
Lucy Alaimo
Principal
